Aviation Hub Asia Inc. (AHAI) was formed in 2015 and incorporated to in response to serving the Aviation needs of the Philippines and particularly in the General Aviation market in the Philippines. We saw that there was a need for world class aviation maintenance, technical and maintenance services provider, aircraft records keeping as well as a spare parts and materials provider to the whole spectrum of aviation operations within the Philippines and the ASEAN member nations and our region.
Through the decision to set up in the Clark Freeport our Head Office and operations base we are showing our commitment to the vision that Clarks aviation future lay with the growth of AMO/MRO with FBO services. We are clearly demonstrating our goal to serve the needs of Domestic Philippines and Regional General Aviation, Corporate operators and Airline aircraft maintenance.
While we continue to build on the legacy of Services and Capabilities here in Clark Freeport of our parent company Asian Aeronautics Services Inc. we are already adding capabilities such as a piston aircraft engine overhaul shop and NDT services. Additional capabilities such as propeller overhauls, aircraft weight and balance will follow.
